Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) Games
PlayStation Studios is providing five PS5 games to Sony. This includes Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a standalone sequel spin-off, Destruction AllStars, a remake of Demon’s Souls, 3D platformer Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and a complimentary 3D platformer Astro’s Playroom, which feels more like a demo showcase of DualSenses capabilities. All of these, and many more, are PlayStation 5 compatible.
Design
The PS5 is a truly massive piece of equipment. This Sony console is quite large in comparison to any other gaming system released in the last decade, including the PS4 Slim and the PlayStation 4 Pro. It’s also significantly larger than its next-generation rival, the Xbox Series X, and makes the Xbox Series S look like a children’s toy. This size enables the PS5 to deliver serious performance while remaining mostly cool and quiet, though it may be difficult for those with small entertainment areas. The PlayStation 5 comes with a detachable stand that lets you position the massive console vertically or horizontally.
Dual Sense Controller
While Microsoft keeps things relatively unchanged with the new Xbox Wireless Controller, Sony has gone for a major overhaul with the PS5 Controller. The PS5 controller, now called DualSense rather than DualShock, has a completely new shape, but all of the buttons remain in their original locations. Sony is also introducing haptic feedback to the DualSense, which Microsoft first introduced with the Xbox One controller.
